spæs Lab Berlin
Liquid ArchitecturesExperience on Odio
The Lab for Spatial Aesthetics in Sound Berlin (spæs) was founded in 2020 by Johannes Scherzer and Gerriet K. Sharma. Both can look back on 20 years of practice in the field of spatial composition, design, installation art and performances with sound, a genre that was also called "spatial audio" lately. Today we are a community of artists, designers, and researchers, exploring the relationships between sound, space, and human experience with an emphasis on aesthetics specializing in very different fields including art, music, design, theatre, film, architecture, scenography, communication, and information studies.

In her compositions, JacqNoise is looking for the spot where rhythms cross each other’s paths. She is deconstructing sounds in order to understand the symphony and the themes that reflex in it. During live performances JacqNoise synchronizes with her surroundings. She finds her main source of inspiration in cultural cross-pollination. Lately she is observing rhythmic sounds in nature.
